PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT: The City of Remsen, Iowa (Pop. 1621) is seeking applications for our full-time Public Works Superintendent position. This position will provide administration and supervision for the following service areas: streets, gas, electric, sewer and water. Will work directly with City Clerk/Administrator to prepare budgets and short- and long-term capital improvement plans for each department supervised. This position will provide technical and administrative leadership for a variety of construction projects and coordinates equipment purchases and supervises personnel and financial activity of the departments.

The City desires candidates with relevant education and/or experience in management and/or in one of the related fields, however, all candidates will be considered. Strong skills in budgeting, personnel management, communication, maintenance, and leadership desired.
