The City Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The City of Remsen will be making some changes to the way we operate out of caution for the public and the threat of the COVID-19 virus. Beginning tomorrow, March 17, 2020, the lobby at City Hall will be closed to the public and we ask that payments be made by using the drop box. City Hall employees will be in the office during normal operating hours and available to answer questions and conduct other business. The Remsen Public Library will also be closed until further notice.

Winter parking in effect November 1 – April 1

The City of Remsen is informing the public that winter parking is in effect, from November 1, 2019 – April 1, 2020.

Parking is prohibited on any residential public street, alley, or city owned off-street parking area during the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Parking is prohibited on any business public street, alley, or city owned off-street parking area during the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Fines are $25.00 plus towing charges.

If the weather allows, mosquito fogging will take place, TOMORROW, Thursday, May 23. We will resume fogging on Sunday evenings on June 2.
