Oktoberfest

Since 1973, the community of Remsen has celebrated Oktoberfest annually on the last Saturday in October.

The event’s mission is to carry on the community tradition of the Luxembourg and German heritage while celebrating the end of harvest.

Arts & Crafts/Vendor Fair: Browse & shop over 75 tables of crafters showing off their talents and independent consultants with their products.

Bavarian Entertainment: Children’s Bavarian Costume & Dance Contest, Queen Crowning, Live Polka Band, Tapping of the Golden Keg (free while it lasts), and Beer Garden.

The famous all you can eat Bavarian and American FEAST is served in the Remsen St. Mary’s cafeteria from 4 PM-7:30 PM.   Please note that we stop selling tickets at 7:00 to ensure that we get everyone through.
